Nourishing the Whole Self

Our chaotic world is not conducive to balance and the digital age is pulling us even further from our centers. The chaos feeds stress, stress eating, sleeplessness, mood disorders and more. If you desire health and well-being, you have to nourish your whole self - Body-Mind-Spirit. A balanced life in which body, mind and spirit are nourished with intention is a life that is conducive to "magic". We'll explore foods and nutrients that nourish the body while also exploring manageable practices that nourish the mind and spirit. 

My Specialty 

I'm new to the health coaching field but I am no stranger to stress and exhaustion. As a business professional and mother, I have burned the candle at both ends far too long. I am successfully managing Hashimoto's Thyroid disease which is practically an epidemic among women that burn the candle at both ends.

 

You may or may not have caught the Howard Thurman quote on my home page: "Don't ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive and go do that, because what the world needs is people who have come alive." 

 

That quote is my "why" and I guess my area of specialty is helping others come to life. If you're feeling half alive, perhaps it's worth an exploratory conversation. We have to stop settling and find joy. Joy can fuel the creativity and collaboration needed to reverse the negative trajectory our world is on.

Mutual Expectations
You can expect me to be prompt, prepared and centered for our scheduled meetings. I will actively listen to whatever it is your sharing and whatever you share will be held in the strictest confidence. We will use our sessions to uncover possibilities - possible solutions, "stuff" that gets in the way, practices and foods you'll be open to trying. I know change is difficult and promise there will be no judgment, just an open mind and an empathetic advocate for your whole health. It's not about perfection, it's about progress.

I expect you to be prompt for our scheduled meetings whether zoom or in person. Additionally, I expect you to be ready set an intention for a healthy, balanced life and together, we'll see what that looks like for you. Commit to the process and give it your best shot.
Fee Details
This is not how I earn my living, it's a very part time passion project. I therefore have no attachment to seeing this endeavor as a source of income. That said, my time is valuable, my free time quite limited and you will be more committed to the process if you are paying for it.

My current fee schedule is based on a sliding scale between $50 and $195 a session. While $50 is on the very low end for health coaching, my goal is to help others come to life. I want to make an investment in health and well-being affordable for those with more modest incomes. If you're an individual that can afford regular facials, massage, personal training sessions and the like, pay on the higher end of the scale. We'll figure it out what feels right.

Great information on how to achieve a healthy, balanced life is only a google search away. If putting that information to use was easy, we would all feel our best, wouldn't we? Instead, we're stressed out and our nation's health trajectory continues to go in the wrong direction. As an integrative health coach, my goal is to serve as a bridge between information and transformation by tuning in and identifying what works for you.                                                                                                                                                      

We'll start with a free health consultation to determine whether we're a good mutual fit. If so and if you wish to move forward, we'll connect for about an hour every 2 weeks for 6 months. 6 months is a length of time that will allow healthy practices to emerge and stick. Each session, we'll come away with a few foods and/or practices for you to implement. If you don't implement them, no worries - you're human. That said, when you know you're going to be reporting back to someone on how something worked (or not), you are more motivated to follow through. As we get to know one another better, more opportunities for positive change will bubble up to the surface.
